April is the Innovation Lead of Financial Health at United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF). April drives the innovations work of UNCDF in the space of Financial Health and Inclusive Digital Economy across Asia region. Engaging at strategic and operational level, with public and private sector stakeholders to support innovations that contribute to SDGs. She brings experience as a former head of programme at some of leading incubators and innovation labs globally and specifically in Asia region, leading the development of entrepreneurship and driving impact investment. At UNCDF, April manages a team of experts in field of behavioural science, gamification, subject matter experts who work with private sector to accelerate change that contribute to financial health and enables inclusive digital economies.
Ankur is the Regional Director and a founding member of Aspirasi (Axiata Digital Capital). Ankur has built Digital Lending and Digital Insurance business ground Zero for Axiata Digital in the region. Today Aspirasi is one of the leading Digital Lending platform in Malaysia and Indonesia. A senior management professional and seasoned entrepreneur with over 20 years’ experience managing large businesses, portfolios and teams in retail financial services across multinational (MNC) banks, corporations and SMEs.
John is the CIO at TymeBank. John has 20 years of experience in Innovation across manufacturing and financial services businesses. He has spent the last 10 years in banking, developing solutions for banking digitisation and new digital banks, including TymeBank South Africa the fastest growing standalone digital bank in the world. Having been part of the core team to build two new banks from scratch, he understands both the need to innovate and the complexity of doing so in regulated spaces. John is an experienced senior leader having held numerous executive roles within the businesses he has served, with these primarily in the Operations and Innovation space.
Myles Bertrand is the Managing Director at Mambu Asia-Pacific. Myles has been building and enhancing financial technology businesses in APAC for over 20 years. He leads the Mambu APAC team and supports our partners in their efforts to serve our growing regional customer base. He is responsible for leading growth and driving execution in APAC. Myles is an experienced senior leader with a broad range of experience and skills including business development, customer relationship management, product management and risk management. Myles has over 20 years of experience in software solutions with key strengths in payments and transaction banking. Myles has a proven capability to deliver improved customer outcomes through developing product and customer focused solutions. He has worked across several industries, including banking, retail, wealth, insurance, telecommunications and sport.
Jenna is the Co-founder and CEO for FortNynja. FortNynja is a cybersecurity company (having presence in Australia, Hong Kong & Malaysia) which also tackles the talent drought issue in cybersecurity and fintech by launching programmes such as E-Fintech School. Jenna specialises in regulated tech as a Fintech & Innovation expert. She is also named as one of the Top 14 Fintech Influencer in Malaysia & Top 100 Women in Fintech (Global). Jenna was from the Fintech team in MDEC (Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation) building the fintech ecosystem in Malaysia working with regulators, financial institutions and industry players. Jenna was the Regtech Chair and committee member for Fintech Association of Malaysia. She also holds the position as a Strategist for Malaysian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association and is also a co-author for the Regtech Book.
