Mynt is increasing access to financial services through mobile money, micro-lending and technology by leveraging its mobile network and physical networks of its partners and parent company. Mambu is powering their growing range of consumer and business loans.
Launched in 2015, Mynt is a subsidiary of leading Filipino telco Globe Telecom which has a customer base of over 60 million.
Using their mobile channels and partner network to address the market need for access to finance in a country with 113% mobile penetration but 31% banking penetration.
Their old platform was not scalable, required manual processes, took 3 - 6 months to build a product and was holding the business back.
They needed a platform that was quick to market, adaptable to changing customer and regulatory needs and allowed them to test, learn and iterate fast.
They chose Mambu for its ability to support a wide range of loan product configurations and faster, easier integration with APIs.
Upon migration to Mambu, the business was able to configure over 15 loan products ranging - from consumer to commercial.
The business was able to scale quickly, have a single view of customers and records and move away from code-based transactions.
Mambu provides Mynt with sustainable and scalable business agility. A key partner in helping the business grow, learn, innovate and change the lives of Filipinos.
Mambu has inked a large deal with Fuse, the lending arm of Filipino financial technology firm Mynt. Mynt itself is a subsidiary of Globe Telecom, a Philippines-based telco.
“Mambu understood our vision and is enabling us to rapidly create, launch and service tailored products that address the local market needs. In Mambu we have found the right partner to accelerate and scale our lending business, as well as power innovative and secure consumer and business loan products.”
