Sainsbury's Bank

Sainsbury’s was the first major supermarket to open a bank in the UK in 1997 and, in 2014, Sainsbury’s took 100% ownership of Sainsbury’s Bank. Intelligent Environments has worked with Sainsbury’s Bank since 2012, helping to define and deliver their new bank Target Operating Model.

The Interact platform provides the online apply and servicing solution for Sainsbury’s Bank’s award-winning range of financial products, which currently includes savings and credit card products (which went live in 2016) and will be extended to include loans in 2017.


In 2015 thinkmoney successfully upgraded to the latest version of our Interact digital financial services platform. We provide online applications and self-servicing on web and mobile web channels for the thinkmoney range of products including managed current account, deposits and pre-paid cards.
Since 2012 the thinkmoney Personal Account has been granted a 4 Star Mark by the Fairbanking Foundation, due in part to its creative online solution. By implementing the Interact platform for thinkmoney, we are committed to continue to help them improve the digital experience for thinkmoney’s customers.
