We are looking for a passionate, skilled and enthusiastic Director of Product Marketing to join our team and help us develop the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for products while leveraging market insights to drive strategic prioritization. Lead cross-functional initiatives with marketing, product management, sales, and engineering, collaborating on product launch and promotion strategies to translate complex enterprise software products and their value to internal and external audiences in multiple modalities. 

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategy for new products and features
  • Develop differentiated messaging for the features and benefits of Mambu products for a variety of use cases
  • Shape and inspire the world’s perception of Mambu’s value
  • Develop go-to-market programs by segments, personas, and verticals
  • Define and own messaging and market differentiation for distinct target audiences
  • Assist the marketing team in planning and executing demand and lead generation campaigns
  • Produce customer lifecycle and customer marketing content to drive product adoption

  • Develop, implement, and manage processes around product marketing campaigns, including collateral and education programs
  • Coordinate program for new product launches and existing product releases, and manage cross-functional implementation
  • Develop a marketing plan for Mambu products, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers
  • Work closely with the sales organisation to improve productivity and help secure business at new accounts as well as to support up-sell/cross-sell opportunities
  • Encourage collaboration with the product management team to launch new offerings and grow market share in key segments

  • Ensure PMMs collaborate across the organisation
  • Maximize the impact of new product releases by ensuring the launch activities of the product management, marketing, and sales teams including external announcements, sales training, and upsell/cross-sell campaigns are coordinated
  • Enable PMMs to provide insightful, actionable product feedback and market intelligence to product and engineering teams
  • Coordinate development of sales playbooks, training materials, product brochures, objection handling scripts, and ROI/TCO models to help accelerate the on-boarding of new reps and improve sales productivity
  • Ensure go-to-market teams are able to effectively position and sell solutions and win competitive deals
  • Make sure sales and support teams are educated about the product value for both buyers and users

  • Serve as the subject matter expert
  • Develop deep expertise in the capabilities of the Mambu product suite
  • Participate in webinars and analyst briefings to ensure Mambu is seen as a thought leader in the Fintech space for Banking
  • Coordinate the inclusion of the PMMs who are individual subject matter experts on their areas to inform strategic decisions being made by product and commercial teams

  • Build and lead a product marketing team
  • Hire and manage competent Product Marketing Managers 
  • Perform strategic prioritization or Product Marketing efforts and competitive analysis
  • Monitor product releases, partnerships, acquisitions, news, and customer wins from key competitors so see where processes and protocols could be improved
  • Ensure research competition and industry trends is being shared widely in org
  • Analyze results to learn, iterate, and optimize product marketing strategy and execution
  • You have:

  • 8 years of experience in product marketing
  • Product marketing leadership experience in a fast-growing B2B technology business
  • Ability to build and lead teams in a fast-paced, constantly evolving business landscape
  • Ability to understand and translate technical complexity into clear, market-facing content for business and technical audiences
  • Success in leading cross-functional relationships across product management, corporate marketing, sales, legal, & engineering organisations across multiple time zones and geographies
  • Keen analytical skills and the ability to dig into customer data to formulate insights and recommendations
  • Exceptional ROI-tracking skills and the ability to analyze the efficacy of current strategies
  • Effective people management skills when interacting with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality output under tight deadlines, with minimal guidance
  • Demonstrated expertise in writing short- and long-form product marketing content
  • Proficiency writing about technology solutions, ideally for a marketing persona
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
