We are looking for a passionate, skilled and enthusiastic Global Commercial Ops Lead to join our office in Amsterdam and manage the Global Commercial Operations team. This includes building and managing the team, which consists of Regional Commercial Operations Business Partners, Compensation and Commission Lead, Sales Tools and Process Lead and BI/Reporting Lead.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Building a Global Commercial Operations Team:
  • Ability to hire, coach and provide career progression for team
  • Develop skills matrix for team
  • Enable x-functional working with horizontal teams at Mambu

  • Business Partnering:
  • Build a model which enables local business partnering with the MDs in each region
  • The team should support the region on a number of activities, such as; forecasting, pipeline, territory optimisation and analytical needs
  • Support the regions with reporting requirements, such as QBRs
  • Work closely with management to define strategy and also with the field to execute

  • Compensation & Commission:
  • Build and deploy the right compensation behaviours that align with Mambu’s global commercial goals
  • Consideration for all revenue defined roles, direct and indirect
  • Where needed, identify and deploy compensation and commission systems

  • Sales Tools and processes:
  • Complete responsibility for all Commercial tools and systems, this includes; managing updates, updating the systems to fit new ways of working

  • BI/Reporting:
  • Create global reporting BI dashboards and working alongside x-functional teams for input
  • Define clear list of stakeholder groups and meet distinct reporting needs

  • Commercial Modernisation:
  • This role will have access to the entire Commercial Operation and information, as a result the role should be continually challenging and providing modernisation opportunities
  • Work closely with MDs and GMs within region to uncover optimisation opportunities

You need to have:

  • Previous experience of managing a Commercial Operations team
  • Executive communication style
  • Previous SaaS technology experience and within a sales organisation
  • Data driven/analytical individual with a high attention to detail
  • Salesforce (or other CRM) enthusiast who is keen to optimise processes
  • Creative problem solver and can take full ownership and drive to resolution
  • Proactive mindset
  • Ability to create structure
