We are looking for a passionate, skilled and enthusiastic Product Marketing Manager to join our team and help us create the messaging, packaging, and positioning of existing and new products in a way that a range of personas can easily relate to and identify with. Influence the direction of the product by relaying the true needs of customers, driving a focus on value-based continuous delivery. Lead cross-functional and cross-team collaboration with product team, marketing, and cross-org partners to build great product experiences that span organisation lines and address customer needs holistically.
Your responsibilities will be:
Ensure all product changes are properly communicated to customers Facilitate Release Notes communication process for every release Facilitate proactive and timely customer communication on Breaking Changes or other high impact changes Ensure all product changes and plans are properly communicated internally Help in documentation, automation, and launch process to enable efficient scalability
Create, manage, and maintain product- and sales-related contentEnvision and deliver relatable, approachable, thought-leadership content creation (written, recorded, video, etc.)Construct case studies, one-pagers, decks, battle cards, and competitive analysis to support enterprise salesDeliver content related to value propositions, competitive differentiators, and product-focused sales materials
Research and refine go-to-market strategyCreate core product positioning, validate messaging, and help evangelize product offerings both internally and externallyDrive go-to-market execution for launches and feature updates by building and scaling go-to-market launch plans and playbooksCreate sales pitch on value of products and narrative through various mediums
Perform comprehensive competitive intelligenceDevelop and maintain knowledge base of competitive intelligenceLead market research, competitive benchmarking, customer segmentation, and opportunity assessments to prioritize product opportunities Surface insights and differentiators for competitive offeringsDeliver regular internal briefings and enablement on the competitive landscape
Serve as the bridge between Product, Sales, Marketing, and SupportSit at the intersection of product, marketing and sales, working cross-functionally with product management, design, marketing, sales enablement, customer success, and sales to bring products to marketCommunicate the value proposition to the sales team and assist in developing the sales tools and training that support the selling processInternal training and coaching around product narratives and messagingPresent and conduct internal training (product training for sales, customer personas, etc.)Partner closely with sales, product, and marketing to project manage the Go-to-Market of large product releasesRepresent the market on product team, including qualitative and quantitative feedback from users, and influence product to prioritize critical changesPartner closely with sales to analyze win/loss ratios and identify opportunities to evolve offeringsPartner closely with outbound teams to craft and refine messaging towards ideal personas, verticals, and company sizesCollaborate with customer success, product managers, engineering, and data science teams to harvest, translate, and package powerful use cases and value stories and bring them to marketPlan and lead alpha/beta testing to feed early insights back to product that accelerate product-market fit
You have:3+ years experience in B2B product marketing, ideally for SaaS productsBA/BS degree or equivalent practical experienceExperience working alongside / supporting enterprise B2B sales orgs, providing training and presentation coachingExperience building out sales decks and other key sales collateralProven track record of driving successful go-to-market launches that drive adoption and bottom line impactHighly cross-functional, detail-oriented, with the ability to partner with different stakeholders and teams across the companySelf-starter with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsTeam-oriented mindset and the ability to work with a wide range of individualsExperience positioning technical products to both technical and non-technical decision makersStrong technical depth and ability to learn quickly, balanced with sharp business acumenAbility to effectively partner with all functions from engineering and product to sales and marketingAbility to deliver creative, concise messages and stories that improve buyer interactions - visually, verbally, or in writing across all targeted channels Strong presentation skills; ability to concisely present goals and plans to internal or external audiencesExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsExceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsSelf-motivated and reliable, with a strong independent work ethic
