We are looking for a passionate, skilled and enthusiastic Regional BizOps EMEA to join our office in Amsterdam and help us to gain more control locally in the region on all finance related processes. Supporting the Managing Director and local team with finance-related matters.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Accounting, Payments, Payroll
  • Help the central bookkeeping team with preparatory work as needed 
  • Support local lease negotiations and space planning for the main office and remote locations
  • Process local procurement needs and region-specific A/P in accordance with company guidelines
  • Enforce travel, expense, credit card and other policies across local team
  • Operationalise new country entry and help team with local business requirements

  • Accounts Receivable
  • Support central team with local collections effort
  • Review AR aging and customers at risk regularly with MD

  • Systems, Processes
  • Help central team to drive and roll out automation efforts in local team
  • Suggest and drive process improvements within area of responsibility and in alignment with central team

  • Audit + Compliance
  • Support local tax compliance with the help of external tax advisor and central team
  • At Controller’s direction, support local financial audits, tax audits and filing
  • Enforce global internal controls framework and support Mambu’s ISO and SOC compliance efforts within region

  • Business Support
  • Be the Finance Business Partner to the Regional MD and support with the monthly review of the financial statements

Requirements:

  • 5 years experience in Business Operations role with Finance focus or a Controller/FP&A role
  • Experienced in managing needs and relationship at the intersection of local team and global policies and guidelines
  • Finance systems expert
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
  • Extreme attention to detail and dedicated to high accuracy while at the same time meeting deadlines
  • Worked in a public-listed company
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • This role reports to the VP Global Finance
