We are looking for a passionate, skilled and enthusiastic System Owner to join our new Ecosystem tribe dedicated to expand Mambu core engine functionality through integrations with external partners using Mambu Process Orchestrator (MPO). As a System Owner, you will ensure high quality, maintainability and performance of the system in all SDLC and operational phases, by owning technical aspects of the products and providing technical leadership to the team. Embracing “you build it, you run it” principle, the System Owner will assess and improve how the connectors are performing in live environments and facilitate inter-group communication and decisions on technical aspects.

You will:

  • Ensure we deliver high-quality Ecosystem products by:
  • - Building products using agile architecture principles and technical good practices;
    - Validating that products are fit for purpose, taking into account functional & non-functional requirements.

  • Make sure that customers are able to use Ecosystem products through self-service by:
  • - Simplifying the process for products acquiring & setup;
    - Define good practices in working with the provided tools or frameworks;
    - Providing technical responses & resolutions to the customer’s queries & defects within the agreed SLAs.

  • Ensure that the team is able to implement Ecosystem products efficiently by:
  • - Making sure that Integration engineers are able to use MPO to implement products autonomously;
    - Nurturing and monitoring technical & testing good practices of team members;
    - Sharing technical knowledge within the tribe as well as with the rest of the organisation;
    - Understanding and applying agile architecture principles;
    - Implementing automation in setup, configuration, testing and deployments.

  • Coach the technical team and provide technical leadership by:
  • - Mentoring and growing technical talent inside the team;
    - Creating a self-sufficient team capable of addressing any technical challenge;
    - Providing efficient technical onboarding of new team members;
    - Structuring development phases for implementing new features;
    - Implementing & delivering new initiatives, together with the team.

  • Co-own the backlog by:
  • - Owning and validating the roadmap together with the Product Manager;
    - Conducting technical assessments of upcoming features;
    - Finding general solutions to address common defects in the system.

  • Make sure the Ecosystem tribe remains aligned with the wider organisation by:
  • - Nurturing early adoption for Mambu core new features;
    - Implementing the technical good practices agreed at organisation level in Ecosystem tribe;
    - Flagging and managing technical changes needed from other tribes/teams (ex: Mambu core products, platform);
    - Collaborate with Product Manager and Engineer Manager in setting the correct expectations around what Ecosystem tribe can and will provide; 
    - Continuously improve ways of working & products.

    You need to have:

  • Bachelors or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related;
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language;
  • Great technical leadership skills;
  • Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs and JSON;
  • Experience with Agile Architecture good practices;
  • Microservices and theoretical containerization knowledge;
  • Experience with project planning (MVPs, phases);
  • Familiarity with cloud SaaS solutions (AWS);
  • Familiarity with testing good practices;
  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills;
  • Capacity to juggle many different types of tasks with graceful prioritization;
  • Proactive, detail oriented, creative and team-player attitude;
  • Ability to work with targets and deadlines;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
