To help us in our journey, we are looking for a Technology Vendor Manager - Marketplace you will join the Ecosystem Tribe to research and select vendors,perform vendor qualification assessments, and onboard Vendors on Mambu Marketplace.  

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Vendor acquisition and onboarding by: 
  • - establishing and maintaining the vendor validation and onboarding criteria frameworks;
    - when necessary, communicating with vendor to validate the relevance and viability based on the established criteria;
    - establishing and maintaining vendors security and compliance self-assessment with the help of Compliance teams.

  • Establish systematic communication on the state of Marketplace for your region by:
  • - supporting commercial teams in creating product marketing communications explaining how Mambu and the 3rd party product / service add value
    - constantly updating sales and solution engineering on the availability and capabilities of vendors in the marketplace.

  • Enable self-service capabilities for stakeholders by:
  • - establishing structured services / products catalog with attributes, such as regional presence, service domain and capabilities (based on BIAN) and other relevant attributes
    - working with sales & solution engineering teams in the Ecosystem tribe to create a tool, assembling Composable Architecture based on required criteria and using structured services catalog.

  • Represent Mambu in relevant forums by:
  • - establishing and promoting Mambu’s brand as valuable partner
    - participating in FinTech or other industry conferences as a speaker
    - participating in industry events and conferences with the purpose of extending the network and finding relevant best-of-service vendors.

  • Define and maintain the roadmap of Vendor Onboarding and acquisition with third party services and products by:
  • - working with different stakeholders in the organisation to establish the roadmap based on sales strategy and market needs
    - constantly communicating the vendor acquisition roadmap to all the stakeholders
    - maintaining a commonly visible and accessible vendor acquisition roadmap of the marketplace.  

    Your profile:

  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant expertise in Vendor Management / Partner Management , specifically managing SaaS platform vendors
  • Good understanding of Financial Services domain and vocabulary. Relevant working experience in Product-centric organisation
  • Passion and interest for banking, fintech or financial inclusion products and services
  • A good understanding of Enterprise SaaS platforms and RESTful APIs
  • Sufficient technical background to understand software development practices
  • Sufficient technical background to understand integrations and application to application interaction;        
  • Nice to have:

  • Working experience in Core Banking / Financial Technology (FinTech)
  • Company in Vendor assessment/partner qualification teams a big plus
  • Ability to communicate clearly, with respect and empathy
  • Ability to solve problems, curiosity to try something new, looking at things with a fresh perspective.
