Mambu’s native integration with Marqeta is used to process card payment authorisation requests and accept card payment clearing transactions and reversal instructions sent by Marqeta.
In case of system failure, Marqeta’s Commando Mode offers a fallback measure that enables processing transactions on behalf of banks when they are offline or unavailable.
To continue enriching the Mambu-Marqeta integration, this feature updates the cached account balance information each time an authorisation hold is created, supporting Stand-In-Processing (STIP) on behalf of banks while Marqeta’s Commando Mode is in effect. This improves accuracy and reliability of transactions and enables the card network to approve transactions in real-time.
